Best Chatbot for Latin America in 2026 — WhatsApp, Spanish and Portuguese Ranked for Small Businesses

Quick answer: For a small business that sells to customers in Mexico, Colombia, Brazil or Argentina through WhatsApp, Manychat (84/100) is the strongest fit we have reviewed: it is the most-searched chatbot brand in our catalog (129,000 monthly searches in Brazil alone), its admin UI ships in Spanish and Portuguese, and it scored 84% (Spanish) and 82% (Brazilian Portuguese) in our intent-accuracy test. WhatsApp starts on its $39 per month Pro tier. SendPulse (86/100, from $12 per month) is the budget pick with a website widget, published per-country WhatsApp rates and 24/7 support in Portuguese and Spanish. Chatfuel ($20 per month Business plan) is the flat-price option for sellers who live on Meta channels. Blip is the Brazilian enterprise platform, and sits last on this list only because it is sold through sales calls, not because it is weak.

TL;DR~30 sec

"Latin America" is not one market. Brazil runs on Portuguese, Pix and a very large local WhatsApp ecosystem; Mexico, Colombia and Argentina run on Spanish with different payment habits. A chatbot that works there needs four things your US tool may not give you: WhatsApp Business API access that you can switch on without a long approval wait, Spanish and Portuguese that hold up in conversation, an admin team that can work in its own language, and a bill that does not surprise you once Meta's per-message charges arrive. This ranking weighs those four, then price. Scores are carried unchanged from our 17-dimension reviews, documented at /methodology.

Methodology note~30 sec
Editorial scores come straight from each platform's Tier 1 review frontmatter; this page recomputes nothing. Language-accuracy figures are the ones each review recorded, and each card says whether the figure was measured in our 20-query test, estimated against a measured anchor, or not tested. Prices are the cheapest monthly-billed tier that unlocks WhatsApp, per our pricing convention. Fan-out research (what AI search engines look up on this topic) shaped which questions the page answers; it supplied no facts.
Data source disclosure
Pricing data
Cheapest monthly-billed tier that includes WhatsApp, from each review's pricing ledger as re-checked on 7 October 2026. Meta's per-message WhatsApp charges, which depend on the destination country, are passed through by every provider here and are not included in any subscription price. Blip publishes no price; its figure is a Capterra listing.
Scoring data
Editorial scores are weighted composites across 17 dimensions, carried over unchanged from the linked Tier 1 reviews. The order below follows fit for a small business serving Latin American customers over WhatsApp (WhatsApp access on the tier you would pay for, Spanish and Portuguese, admin-team language support, price clarity), and says so wherever it diverges from composite score.
Testing observations
Spanish (Latin American) and Brazilian Portuguese intent accuracy was measured on a 20-query set for Manychat (84% and 82%) and Wati (81% and 79%), and on a 15-question set for Tidio (80% and 80%). Chatfuel and Landbot figures are estimates anchored to Manychat's measured results, and the SendPulse and Blip reviews record no per-language figure. No review on this page ran a Brazilian or Mexican WhatsApp number to production traffic.

The 2026 ranking — 7 platforms for Latin American WhatsApp deployments

Every platform below supports WhatsApp Business API, has an interface or support team that works in Spanish or Portuguese, and has a Tier 1 review behind it. The ranking then weighs four things a small team meets in its first month in the region: how soon WhatsApp is switched on at the price you would pay, how the platform handles Spanish and Portuguese conversations, whether your own staff can work in their language, and how clearly the bill can be predicted once Meta's per-message charges are added.

Eight reviewed platforms are deliberately absent, each for a stated reason. Typebot (70/100) has the most Brazil-concentrated brand in our data (about 14,000 monthly Brazilian searches against 440 in the US) but is a developer-led open-source builder, and its WhatsApp support is not a Meta Business Solution Provider integration. Chatbase (73/100) scored well in Spanish (85%) and Portuguese (83%) but its admin interface is English-only and its centre of gravity is website chat. Botpress (81/100) and Voiceflow (75/100) are developer and enterprise platforms; the Botpress review itself sends LATAM WhatsApp-commerce operators to Manychat. BotPenguin (70/100) has an English-only admin UI and roughly 1,400 combined LATAM brand searches. AiSensy (71/100) is India-anchored, with about 240 Brazilian brand searches a month. Intercom (76/100) has a 12-language interface but starts at $29 per seat plus $0.99 per AI resolution, and Tars (76/100) scored 79% in Spanish and 77% in Portuguese with a small regional footprint (about 3,800 combined LATAM brand searches).

  1. Best Chatbot for Latin America 2026·#1
    Manychat logo

    Manychat

Best for small businesses selling through WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger in Brazil and Spanish-speaking Latin America

    Strongest:
    Channels (95/100) and pricing (88/100); AI/NLU 82/100
    From:
$39/mo Pro (monthly-billed) is the first tier with WhatsApp; $17/mo Essential has two social channels and no WhatsApp

Manychat ranks first because every Latin America-specific signal in our review points the same way. Its admin interface ships in English, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese, it holds Meta Business Solution Provider status, which the review ties to faster WhatsApp template approval, and its brand search volume is the largest in our catalog: 129,000 searches a month in Brazil and 215,000 across Latin America, against 70,000 in the US. The review concludes that Brazilian small businesses overwhelmingly choose it for WhatsApp commerce. In our 20-query intent test on a Pro account it scored 89% in English, 84% in Latin American Spanish and 82% in Brazilian Portuguese, with a 12% hallucination rate on a five-document knowledge base, acceptable for marketing, riskier for compliance-sensitive support. It also transcribed WhatsApp voice notes in both languages with acceptable accuracy, which matters in a region where voice notes are customary, though heavy regional dialects degraded it slightly. Two limits belong in the decision. WhatsApp sits on Pro ($39), and Pro includes two inbox seats and three of seven channels. And Manychat is not a payment processor: it connects your own Stripe or PayPal account, while Pix and Mercado Pago flow through Shopify or a direct API, so a Brazilian checkout depends on your store setup. Evidence in the Manychat review and Manychat alternatives; the closest head-to-head for this region is Manychat vs Wati.

    Strong fit if

Your customers find you on Instagram or WhatsApp, you sell through comment-to-DM and broadcasts, and your team wants an interface in Spanish or Brazilian Portuguese.

    Weak fit if

You need a website chat widget (Manychat has none), a built-in Pix or Mercado Pago checkout, or an inbox for more than two agents on Pro.

  2. Best Chatbot for Latin America 2026·#2
    SendPulse logo

    SendPulse

Best for budget-minded teams that want WhatsApp, a website widget and support in Portuguese or Spanish on one low bill

    Strongest:
    Pricing (96/100), support and documentation (94/100), AI/NLU 87/100
    From:
$12/mo Pro at the 500-subscriber slider (monthly-billed); all chatbot channels included; free plan covers 3 bots and 500 subscribers

SendPulse has the highest composite score on this page and takes second place because the Latin America evidence behind it is thinner than Manychat's, not because the product is weaker. What it does well for the region is specific. The admin interface ships in ten languages including Português and Español, support runs 24/7 in Portuguese, Spanish, English, Russian and Ukrainian, and the company lists offices in Brazil and Mexico alongside Ukraine and the US. Capterra's customer-service sub-rating for it is 4.4 out of 5, above the category median in our review. On cost, WhatsApp Business API setup is free on Pro, and the pricing page publishes Meta's per-message rates by destination country. Our review recorded, in May 2026, Brazil at $0.0098 for authentication and utility templates and $0.0750 for marketing templates, against $0.0064 and $0.0300 for the US. Since 1 October 2026 Meta also charges for replies sent inside the 24-hour service window at the utility rate, and SendPulse lists 1,000 such messages per bot per month as free; the October re-check showed only euro rates, so confirm current dollar figures. The limits are real: the vendor does not document a per-language accuracy figure, so Spanish and Portuguese quality depends on the language model behind its ChatGPT integration; its payment node on Pro handles in-flow payments, but Pix and OXXO go through Stripe, PayPal or a regional gateway you must verify; and the WhatsApp flows were read from the vendor rather than run to production. Evidence in the SendPulse review; see the head-to-head Manychat vs SendPulse.

    Strong fit if

You want WhatsApp plus a website widget, you value 24/7 support in Portuguese and Spanish, and you want to see Meta's per-country message rates before you commit.

    Weak fit if

You need a measured Spanish or Portuguese accuracy figure, a ticket object with SLAs, or a documented Pix or Mercado Pago connector.

  3. Best Chatbot for Latin America 2026·#3
    Chatfuel logo

    Chatfuel

Best for Meta-channel sellers who want one flat plan, unlimited contacts and an interface in Spanish or Portuguese

    Strongest:
Pricing (80/100); AI/NLU 73/100; compliance is the weakest dimension at 42/100
    From:
$20/mo Business plan (monthly-billed; unlimited contacts, $20 of monthly AI credits, WhatsApp and AI usage paid from a wallet); Agency tiers from $100/mo

Chatfuel is third because it pairs a very low entry price with a Latin America-friendly profile. The vendor localizes its marketing site into English, Spanish and Portuguese, and our review notes its content strategy has historically targeted Latin American ecommerce operators. The pricing page now lists a $20 per month Business plan ($18 billed yearly) with unlimited contacts, $20 of monthly AI credits and five channels: WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, TikTok and a website widget. It is a Meta Partner with WhatsApp Business Solution Provider routing. The catch is that AI replies and WhatsApp fees are paid from a usage wallet, so the $20 headline understates a busy account. Language evidence is the weakest of the top three: the review's 83% (Spanish) and 81% (Portuguese) are estimates anchored to Manychat's measured results, not a Chatfuel test, and the vendor publishes no supported-language list. Payments run through your Shopify store (Mercado Pago and Pix work if the store supports them), not through Chatfuel. Telegram, important in parts of the region, is available only through Make, Zapier or similar. Our hands-on work connected Messenger and Instagram on a free account; WhatsApp was not provisioned. Evidence in the Chatfuel review and Chatfuel vs Manychat.

    Strong fit if

Your channels are WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, TikTok and a website widget, you have more than a few thousand contacts, and you want a predictable subscription.

    Weak fit if

You need a measured Spanish or Portuguese result, Telegram, SMS or email natively, or strong compliance documentation (the review scores it 42/100).

  4. Best Chatbot for Latin America 2026·#4
    Tidio logo

    Tidio

Best for ecommerce and support teams that want a website-first shared inbox with WhatsApp bundled and a Spanish or Portuguese interface

    Strongest:
AI/NLU (82/100) and value for money (81/100); trust signals 90/100
    From:
$29/mo Starter (monthly-billed; 100 conversations, 10 seats, 50 one-off Lyro AI conversations); WhatsApp is available on every tier including Free; Growth $59/mo

Tidio is the best fit on this page for a team whose Latin American customers begin on a website. The interface ships in seven languages including Spanish and Portuguese, WhatsApp is bundled on every tier, and every paid tier includes ten seats, so a Bogota or Sao Paulo support shift costs nothing extra. In our 15-question hands-on test of its Lyro AI agent against a single-page knowledge base, Mexican Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese each answered 80% (12 of 15) grounded questions, against 84% and 82% on the Manychat anchor; the failures clustered on idiom, for example Mexican Spanish phrasing such as "me echas la mano" and Brazilian contractions such as "pra" and "ta", not on meaning. It scored human handover 4.5 out of 5. Why fourth: the review records no Latin America brand-search data, it could not confirm how Tidio routes WhatsApp template approval, Starter's 50 Lyro conversations are a one-off allowance with no monthly refresh, so a working AI agent usually means Growth at $59, and Telegram is third-party only. Evidence in the Tidio review and Manychat vs Tidio.

    Strong fit if

Your customers start on your website or Shopify store and move to WhatsApp, and several agents need to share one inbox without a seat bill.

    Weak fit if

You are WhatsApp-only, Telegram-led or SMS-led, or you need Meta provider details confirmed up front: the review could not see how WhatsApp template approval is routed.

  5. Best Chatbot for Latin America 2026·#5
    WATI logo

    WATI

Best for WhatsApp-only teams that want a deep template manager and a shared team inbox, and can carry a $69 entry price

    Strongest:
    Compliance (79/100) and partnership (83/100); AI/NLU 73/100; channels only 50/100
    From:
$69/mo Growth (monthly-billed; hard-capped at 3 users); Pro $149/mo; Astra AI agents are a separate $99/mo (Pro) or $399/mo (Business) subscription

Wati is the WhatsApp specialist on this list. Its admin interface ships in six languages including Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish, its compliance score of 79/100 is joint-highest here with Blip, and its Meta Business Solution Provider tooling for templates and broadcasts is deeper than the multichannel platforms above it. In our 20-query test it reached 85% in English, 81% in Latin American Spanish and 79% in Brazilian Portuguese. Its place at fifth comes from price structure and regional footprint. The review documents a markup of about 20% on Meta's message rates; in its worked example, 3,000 marketing templates at roughly $0.025 each, with the markup, add about $90 to the $69 Growth subscription, around $159 a month before AI. Wati's brand footprint in Brazil is modest (3,200 monthly searches) next to Manychat's, and its coverage of other channels is an inbox view, not native automation. Evidence in the Wati review, Wati alternatives and Manychat vs Wati.

    Strong fit if

WhatsApp carries nearly all your conversations, you broadcast templates at scale, and you want an interface in Brazilian Portuguese or Spanish.

    Weak fit if

You also need Instagram, Messenger or a website widget natively, a low entry price, or Meta's message fees passed through without markup.

  6. Best Chatbot for Latin America 2026·#6
    Landbot logo

    Landbot

Best for teams that design conversations carefully and want a Spanish and Portuguese interface from a vendor based in Barcelona

    Strongest:
Pricing (74/100), AI/NLU 72/100; conversation design is its signature strength
    From:
EUR 40/mo Starter (no WhatsApp); WhatsApp on your own number starts at EUR 200/mo (Professional EUR 100 plus the EUR 100 WhatsApp add-on); Free is website-only

Landbot is sixth because its WhatsApp access is expensive for the region's small teams, not because its language support is poor. The company is headquartered in Barcelona, its interface comes in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French, and its Spanish and Portuguese intent accuracy is estimated at 80 to 86% and 78 to 84% in our review, ranges anchored to Manychat's measured 84% and 82% rather than tested directly (the vendor publishes no per-language benchmark). It is on Meta's official WhatsApp Business API, with account setup of one to two weeks as documented by the vendor, longer than the fastest specialists. The review rates human handover 4/5. Starter at EUR 40 has no WhatsApp option, so a real deployment begins at EUR 200 a month (EUR 160 billed annually), and AI conversations beyond the plan allowance cost EUR 0.10 each. Brand search volume in Latin America is modest (about 3,300 combined). Evidence in the Landbot review, Landbot alternatives and Landbot vs Manychat.

    Strong fit if

You build a lead-qualification or booking flow once and deploy it to a website and WhatsApp, and value a Spanish-language vendor with GDPR and SOC 2 posture.

    Weak fit if

WhatsApp is your main channel on a small budget: the EUR 200 starting point is well above Manychat, SendPulse or Chatfuel.

  7. Best Chatbot for Latin America 2026·#7
    Blip logo

    Blip

Best for Brazilian mid-market and enterprise operators with agent teams, multiple WhatsApp numbers and compliance requirements

    Strongest:
Team collaboration (100/100) and channels (95/100); compliance 79/100; pricing only 42/100
    From:
Contact sales; Capterra lists $500/user/mo entry and a $750/mo DAU plan (not vendor-published)

Blip is the Brazilian enterprise option and the lowest-ranked card only because this list is written for small businesses. Operated by Take Blip, headquartered in Brazil with employees in Brazil, Mexico and Spain, it reports 80 million active contacts, more than 4,000 brands and 125 million new conversations a day (vendor claims), and its brand search volume is concentrated in Brazil (20,000 monthly searches). Its channel list is the broadest in our catalog: WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, a web and app widget, Apple Messages for Business, SMS, email, Telegram, Microsoft Teams and Google RCS, with voice through Blip Calls. Its plans page states ISO 27001 certification and a contract-guaranteed availability SLA. Multiple WhatsApp numbers are native, which large multi-brand operators need. The review is candid about the gaps: the pricing page is contact-sales only, the Capterra-listed $500 per user is more than seven times Wati's $69 entry price, G2 shows only 4 reviews (3.0/5), and the scenario results are projections from vendor documentation, not hands-on runs. For a large Brazilian bank, telco or retailer this card would sit first; for a small team it would not. Evidence in the Blip review and Blip alternatives.

    Strong fit if

You run 10 or more agents, over a million messages a month and several WhatsApp numbers, in Portuguese, and want a local, Meta-partnered vendor.

    Weak fit if

You want a price you can read before talking to sales, or you are a small business with a few agents.

How we evaluated these platforms

Below this point the page moves from the picks to how they were chosen: the comparison table, the decision framework, and the parts of a Latin American rollout that break first.

How the ranking was constructed

17-dimension scoring rubric (methodology v3.12.1)

Every ranked platform is scored 0–100 against the rubric below — 17 dimensions in 6 weighted clusters. Cluster weights are published; per- dimension weights inside each cluster are documented in the methodology page and the per-review POC notes sibling file. Cluster weights were rebalanced in v3.12.1 (May 2026) to bring Pricing-and-Value closer to AI/NLU parity — reflecting the SMB persona's reality where price is a primary decision driver alongside AI capability.

Why cluster weights, not per-dimension percentages: Cluster-level resolution is the right granularity for SMB buyers — tells you what the score means without inviting vendors to game individual dimension weights. Same practice used by G2 and Forrester.

Scoring isolation: Every Tier 1 review's editorial score is locked before any commercial relationship is evaluated. Affiliate availability never affects scoring. Documented at /methodology#editorial-policy.

Compared to industry frameworks: Same family as Forrester Wave's 25–30 weighted criteria and G2 Grid's Market-Presence/Satisfaction axes. Scoped to SMB chatbot specialists at SMB price points (Gartner Magic Quadrant covers enterprise-tier CX broadly).

Editorial scoring breakdown — comparative table

Scores are on a 0–100 scale, carried over unchanged from each Tier 1 review. The language columns show the review's evidence class in brackets: measured means our own 20-query test (Tidio's was 15 questions), estimated means anchored to a measured peer, and not tested means the review recorded no per-language figure.

Two inversions to read before choosing. SendPulse has the highest composite score and sits second, because its Latin America evidence is the least measured of the top two. Blip carries the fourth-highest composite among the seven and sits last, because the list is written for self-serve small businesses. Composite score measures the whole product; this page measures one job.

How to choose — decision framework

Three questions narrow seven platforms to one or two.

Question 1: Which country, which language, which channel?

Brazil and Spanish-speaking Latin America are separate decisions. For Brazil, check that Portuguese works in the interface your team uses and in the bot's answers; Manychat and Wati have measured Brazilian Portuguese figures, Chatfuel and Landbot have estimates, and SendPulse and Blip have none. For Mexico, Colombia and Argentina, Spanish accuracy is the question, and Manychat (84%) and Chatfuel (83% estimated) lead the figures we hold. Then count where your customers write: WhatsApp-heavy teams can pick Manychat, SendPulse, Chatfuel or Wati, website-first teams Tidio or SendPulse, and Instagram-first sellers Manychat. Our channel selection guide walks through the count.

Question 2: Can your own team work in the tool?

A platform that answers customers in Portuguese but forces your staff into an English admin panel creates its own friction. Manychat, SendPulse, Chatfuel, Tidio, Wati, Landbot and Blip all localize the interface into Spanish or Portuguese; BotPenguin and Chatbase, left off this list, do not. Check the documentation and support language too: SendPulse is the only platform here that lists 24/7 support in both languages. For handoff, the handoff design guide has a test script, and our human handoff entry explains the pattern.

Question 3: What will WhatsApp actually cost per month?

Subscription price is the smaller number once you send templates. Meta charges per message by destination country, and every platform passes the charge through. Model your volume with the WhatsApp API pricing calculator before you compare subscriptions.

What WhatsApp costs in Latin America

Meta's per-message charges vary by country and by template category: marketing messages cost the most, utility and authentication templates far less. The only published Brazil figures in our reviews are SendPulse's, recorded in May 2026: $0.0750 for a marketing template and $0.0098 for an authentication or utility template, against $0.0300 and $0.0064 for the United States. As an illustration (not a quote), 3,000 marketing templates a month to Brazilian customers at $0.0750 come to $225, against $90 at the US rate, and 3,000 utility templates at $0.0098 come to $29.40. If your provider also adds a markup, the same 3,000 marketing templates cost $270 with the roughly 20% markup Wati's review documents; check every provider's terms for markup, since BotPenguin's vendor claims zero and its review flags that as a claim to confirm. Since 1 October 2026 Meta also bills replies sent inside the 24-hour service window, so a bot that answers many inbound questions is no longer free to run on WhatsApp. Rates change, and the figures above predate that change, so read the destination-country table on your provider's pricing page before launch. Our WhatsApp Business API glossary entry and message template entry explain categories and approval, and the template approval predictor helps you avoid rejections.

Language, localization and payments

Spanish and Portuguese are not interchangeable and not uniform. Our tests found Brazilian Portuguese 0 to 2 points behind Latin American Spanish on every platform where both were measured (Manychat 82% against 84%, Wati 79% against 81%, Tidio 80% against 80% on a smaller set), and failures clustered on regional idiom more than on meaning. Treat any single accuracy figure as a floor test, not a guarantee, and run your own 20 real customer messages through a free trial. Our chatbot localization guide and multilingual chatbot truths cover testing, and language detection explains how the bot picks a language when a customer mixes two.

Payments are the second gap. For the five self-serve platforms, our reviews record no native processing of Pix, Boleto, Mercado Pago or OXXO: they connect Stripe or PayPal, or rely on your Shopify or WooCommerce store, so a Brazilian buyer paying with Pix is paying through your store, not through the bot. Blip's review is the exception: it lists native Pix, Boleto, Mercado Pago and PicPay integrations through partner ecommerce platforms and a native payment block in its builder. The Landbot review documents none. If native local payment is a requirement, say so to each vendor in writing. For a ranking that weighs multilingual quality across all markets, see best multilingual chatbot.

Regional vendors we have not reviewed

AI search results for this topic often name Latin American providers such as Zenvia (Sirena), Botmaker, Yalo, Aivo, Cliengo, Treble, Leadsales, Hilos and B2Chat, and Kommo, a CRM-led messenger platform popular with mid-market sellers in the region. We have not reviewed any of them, so we rank none and make no claim about their features or prices. Our Kommo alternatives page covers the CRM-first option against platforms we have reviewed (Kommo itself is not yet reviewed). If a regional vendor is on your shortlist, ask for the same things this page checks: WhatsApp access on your tier, a language test on your own messages, and a per-country message-fee table.

Compliance, data and the honest counterpoint

Customer data in Brazil falls under the LGPD, the general data protection law, and Mexico and other countries have their own rules; this is not legal advice. Practical questions to put to any vendor: where chat data is stored, whether a data-processing agreement is available, and how opt-ins for broadcasts are recorded. Our reviews score compliance at 79/100 for Wati and Blip, 72 for Manychat, 71 for SendPulse, 70 for Landbot, 58 for Tidio and 42 for Chatfuel, so weigh that if you handle sensitive data.

The honest counterpoint: most small businesses selling into one Latin American country do not need seven platforms compared. If your whole business is WhatsApp, start from best WhatsApp chatbot or best WhatsApp Business API provider; if you sell mainly on Instagram, best Instagram chatbot; if you sell products online, best chatbot for ecommerce.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best chatbot for Latin America?

For a small business selling over WhatsApp in Brazil or Spanish-speaking Latin America, Manychat (84/100) is the best fit in our reviews: Spanish and Portuguese interface, 84% Spanish and 82% Portuguese intent accuracy in our test, Meta Business Solution Provider status, and WhatsApp from $39 a month. SendPulse (86/100, from $12 a month) is the better choice if you also need a website widget or the lowest price.

Which chatbot supports Spanish and Portuguese best?

Among the platforms we measured, Manychat scored 84% in Latin American Spanish and 82% in Brazilian Portuguese, Wati 81% and 79%, and Tidio 80% and 80% on a smaller question set. Chatbase scored higher (85% and 83%) but has an English-only admin interface and is website-first. The platforms that localize both the interface and support into Spanish and Portuguese are listed in the table above.

What is the best WhatsApp chatbot for Brazil?

Manychat has the strongest Brazilian footprint in our data (129,000 monthly brand searches, with a Portuguese interface and measured Portuguese accuracy). Blip is the Brazilian enterprise platform for large agent teams, sold by contact sales. SendPulse publishes Brazil's per-message Meta rates and offers support in Portuguese from $12 a month.

How much does a WhatsApp chatbot cost in Latin America?

Subscriptions range from $12 (SendPulse Pro) and $20 (Chatfuel Business) to $39 (Manychat Pro for WhatsApp) and $69 (Wati Growth), plus Meta's per-message charges. SendPulse's page listed Brazil at $0.0750 per marketing template and $0.0098 per utility template in May 2026, and Meta has billed service-window replies since 1 October 2026, so check the current table for your country.

Can these chatbots take Pix or Mercado Pago payments?

Mostly not natively in our reviews; Blip is the exception, with Pix, Boleto, Mercado Pago and PicPay integrations through partner platforms. Manychat connects Stripe and PayPal, and Pix and Mercado Pago work through Shopify or a direct API; Chatfuel and Wati depend on your Shopify or WooCommerce store; SendPulse has a payment node on Pro, with Pix routed through Stripe, PayPal or a regional gateway you should verify. Ask each vendor in writing if native local payment is a requirement.

Do I need a Latin American vendor, or does a global one work?

A global platform works if it gives you WhatsApp access, a Spanish or Portuguese interface for your team and a message-fee table for your countries. A local vendor such as Blip becomes worth the sales process when you run large agent teams, several WhatsApp numbers and compliance obligations in Brazil.

About this guide

Chatbotscape launched in 2026 as an independent review site. We cannot claim the history of established analyst firms, so we publish our methodology at /methodology, pull every score from a full platform review rather than ranking from memory, and link each pick to its evidence. This guide is written from the United States about a market whose language, payments and carrier rules we know through vendor documentation and tests, not local operations, so we labelled every language figure by how it was obtained and ranked no vendor we have not reviewed. Send corrections to editorial@chatbotscape.com; material changes are logged in the update history below. See our editorial team page for who we are.

Methodology

Rankings reflect Chatbotscape's evaluation of the 2026 SMB chatbot catalog against our 17-dimension scoring rubric; per-platform testing depth is documented in each review's evidence ledger. Prices, channels and language figures were read from each Tier 1 review as re-checked on 7 October 2026 and reconciled on 23 October 2026. Pricing follows the cheapest monthly-billed paid tier per our pricing methodology.
